Is Your Bed Cold?  Consider a Mattress Warmer.

If you sleep 6 to 8 hours a night, you will basically be spending in between a fourth to a third of your life in bed. If you are going to be spending that much time in bed, you should consider getting some things that will make you incredibly comfortable. Mattress warmers are great additions to your bed during those chilly winter nights.

I hate jumping into a cold bed at night. Your muscles may tighten up and it may take you longer to fall asleep because you are chilled. A mattress warmer is a great solution to this. Mattress warmers are considerably better then electric blankets because heat ultimately rises. With an electric blanket the heat mostly goes up and a minimal amount is kept to keep you warm. Mattress warmers the heat goes up into you instead of away from you.

If you have a partner in bed with you, consider getting a model with dual controls. Each person can select their desired temperature to sleep at. You won’t freeze and he won’t bake as it were.

At starting around $30 you can enjoy a warm bed. This can then go up to hundreds of dollars depending on the features. A quilted top on your warmer may be a nice feature to consider. This gives an extra layer of padding that is wonderful. You don’t feel the wire in the warmer. Some warmers also have a safety feature of a ten-hour auto shut off. This insures that if you forget to turn off your pad in the morning that you don’t waste electricity or cause a fire hazard.

If you are looking for a great present to give to someone, a mattress warmer may be it. I would personally rather melt into my warm bed then become an ice cube in a cold one.  Get your mattress warmer today and get a great sleep tonight.
